Crazy BLUFF For $3,800,000 Cash! (2018 WSOP Principal Event)

The 2018 Environment Sequence of Poker Principal Event experienced just one of the largest turnouts in quite a few yrs. With a prizepool of $8,800,000, the payjump among 1st and 2nd place is staggering. That is why this bluff from Tony Miles is so impressive. With so considerably revenue on the line, John Cynn is below extraordinary stress. If he calls and is proper, the title, revenue, and gold bracelet is his. But should he?

This originally aired on PokerGo. You can look at far more 2018 WSOP Principal Event protection there:

  4. Love the analysis so much. It clearly just lays out exactly what the frequencies should be of each play for both of their holdings and completely discusses the rational behind each conclusion.

  7. He looks super guilty on the turn when he raises and looks even more guilty when 2x pot shoving the river

I beleive Cynn knew that he was bluffing but couldn’t call.

If miles rivered the flush, I don’t think he shoves, he wants to bet less to get value

If he has trips or 2 pair, again he bets smaller to make sure he gets value.

If he has a full house, again he probably wants to bet less to be sure he gets value. The only think is that a diamond hit the river, so if he had a full house he could potentially want to overbet, hoping to get called by a rivered flush ( which is in cynn’s range).

Overall I think it was not a good bluff due to the stack sizes

  10. You need to understand that everything you do at the poker table is annoying. You can't be all loosey goosey or you're going to get punched in the face.

  14. The turn is a bluff raise with a weak dick draw. I think Miles was not playing well in this hand.

  15. What I don't get is how many times the guy has to look at his cards. This is the end part of it all, can you not remember your cards?
