  3. Jeff,  I play lots of tourneys in Oklahoma at Winstar and Choctaw and will fold to overs with k's or q's.  When there is a shove on the turn, heads up, I want to fold my pair and play another hand with a better opportunity.  You are a much better tourney player than me but I think you should consider this as "friendly" advice.  KUTGW, (keep up the good work)

  7. Jeff – love the videos. Try to trap a little more and stop moving in so often with questionable hands. People play very common hands like King Queen off, etc so don't be surprised when a hand like that shows up against your AK on the flop. Remember: you have to fold a lot of really good hands to win a poker tournament.

  11. Tough running into AA twice, good run. You can pick apart a lot of poker hands, that's what makes the game great. Jeff is not afraid to put his chips in the middle, have to have that mentality to win, and he wants to win. I would have liked to seen a bag and tag w 20+BB and Jeff fresh for the next session, but this is his time to steal cookies, everyone is thinking day two, he is a pro gambler. If you don't get caught with your hand in the cookie jar from time to time, you are being to good a boy at the table and you are not going to be eating like what I just saw go down, I am still hungry, very nice. Jeff do not underestimate how better you play fresh, so gearing down although against your instincts and style, there may be value to consider there and taking the foot off the gas may be in order from time to time, you can also tell me to F%&# Off. Hoping for big things this summer, good luck, great breakdowns.

  17. a lot of people on here saying that he plays to over-aggressive blah blah blah yes if you play that way in cash games you will get crushed you have to play a pretty tight aggressive strategy for cash games but when you're playing tournaments whole different ballgame I learned that the hard way after trying to play too tight for years kept wondering why all the looser players would always make the final table the way he plays will get you to the final table much more often with decent stack then playing too tight and knitting it up riding into the money and having no chips very simple if I play my tighter cash game strategy in say 200 hundred tournaments and he plays his loose aggressive even overly aggressive strategy he will definitely win more money than me at the end of the year

  21. I really like the way you are playing poker, RESPECT! It is clear that you are always giving yourself the chance to win the whole tournament.

Running in to AA with AK is really bad luck. Keep playing excellent poker!

  29. I'm a leather ass squeezing out a comfortable living that plays tournaments once in a while, so what do I know? From what I've seen so far Jeff doesn't seem all that good just super aggressive. His style Reminds me of tournament poker played 2003-2009. Am I way off? Or are there any legit tourney grinders out there that can tell me one way or the other? Not a hater, just playing DEVILS Advocate. Anytime I've played with a player as aggressive as him they wind up punting it to me or someone else. That's why I bring this up? How good is Jeff guys?

  32. We're the 2nd largest tournament stack and It's the last hand on the bubble before dinner break. I'm already salivating over the upcoming filet. I'm UTG and look down @ KK. We decide to trap and min-raise. It folds around to the bb (chip leader) he tanks for 5 minutes and then JAMS ALL-IN! We instacall… and he reveals..AA 🙁 The flop comes

    KK2

I quickly text my order to Delmonico.

    The turn comes….A
    The river comes…A…

I wake up in my bedroom in a cold sweat…
