  3. I'm curious how poker vloggers position their camera on the table to take shots of their cards. Just me?

  5. I'd also consider shoving the AQdd pre…given the <1 SPR that is nearly guaranteed. You can realize your equity and are often up against a smaller pair or a worse ace with side money. If that flop is T34 you can't call as often as you like…thoughts?

  6. Might look for a smaller bet size on the set of TT…can get looser calls and balance for AK, AQ type hands (although balance less important @ live low stakes). Maybe something like 28-33% pot. Thoughts?

  14. I love your explanation of jamming AQ when missed to gain the extra fold equity (since you have to check call almost any board anyway)

  16. not sure how, someone with your knowledge played the first 3 hands like you did

talking about equity and variance and all these numbers – and then doing it worse than people with no knowledge at all ….

that aq hand tho…wasnt to difficult to play – and you should be getting it all in on flop – even something like kj and j10 are still willing to call since the potodds are too great to fold their smallstacks

you wont get a call on the turn from these hands if the turn bricks…so overall – you played every single hand wrong^^

no offense,i like your blog, but i dont like how you handle your actions despite knowing its the wrong move

  21. Great session man!! Analysis on point as always! I also would probably bet a little smaller on that flop with top set, trying to get a slightly better price for a hand like A8 second pair top kicker!!,Good luck!!

  24. Nice work.  I like the graphics for your hand analysis.  I'm staying at the Venetian next weekend.  Was this game a bit NITTY?  Or, did you think fairly soft game?

  25. I love all your analysis, I was thinking all the same things such as going for thing value on the turn in the K9 hand and you said it right after. Great stuff, keep it up

  26. I like everything as played except the AQ hand against the shortstackers. IMO the flop is an absolute must bet. You lose almost nothing by betting and possibly everything by checking. You hope these guys have a some sort of draw or weaker ace. Hopefully the draws will call it off with 2 cards to come. The two players with less than half the pot almost have to call with anything at all – which you want. They are either the type that will or they are the type that must hit their hand to do so. Your check allows the draws to get there. You now lose the pot to hands that wouldn't have called a flop bet, but your outcome is exactly the same against all the others. Nothing gained, only lost. Also, some of the ones that would have called it off with a gutter or even pair on the flop with 2 cards to come might well fold with just 1 card to come and no improvement. I just don't see that checking gains anything…except maybe on the occasions that someone turns a flush draw or some sort of combo draw. I don't think that happens often enough to warrant the move. In this particular hand, I think if you bet ~$50 on the flop, you stack seat 7 as well. I can't see him calling $25 (1/3 of his stack) preflop and then folding much of anything on the flop being as there would be $155 in the pot, and he only has $50.

  28. I have to admit, this is my favorite of your videos so far. I thought you did a very great job explaining your hands and found myself taking similar lines should I have been in your seat. The only change that I can remember is when you flopped trip tens. I would have bet $20-$25 on the flop. I feel $40 is a bit excessive even with that many players. You have the flop dominated so much that no one will have a 10 usually and you need to find a call from something.

Your table looked a bit limp happy. A great strategy for your continued poker adventures in Vegas should be to isolate A ton! Why didn't your range from late position in isolate the living crap out of everybody. The red rock Casino a little bit off of the strip has a decent sized poker room with very soft tables. If you have some extra time I recommend checking them out.

Fantastic video and I'm excited to see your next one!
