  13. Why no 3 bet preflop with the AcJc?? Out of position vs hijack raiser that seems loose and you both had comfortable stacks…

  15. Used to go to Vegas twice a year. The resort fees (nothing for something) killed that. For the last 6-7 years, I have watched 10 -20+ hours of live streaming of WSOP a week while it was going on. This year Ceasars sold off streaming to an outfit called PokerGo and you have to pay $10 a month to get the live stream. $10 bucks ain't much. It's the idea that these pricks are so greedy, that they will screw you out of every cent they can. If they want to cut their own throats by pulling this crap, have at it!!!

  16. We bagged an almost identical amount on Day 1(155k and 158k) and busted out in almost identical positions on Day 2 (366th and 373rd)! Thought this was kind of cool, even though our day 2's stunk šŸ™

  19. Andrew, I watched your analysis of the AJ a couple of times. With AJ suited, a healthy 3 bet would be in order. If you didn't take the pot down right there, a c-bet on the flop would have done the trick. When I'm about to 3-bet in tournament poker, I tell myself I have pocket aces no matter what I have. Since you decided to flat, which is ok in my book, a check call on the flop is fine. When the guy checks back the turn, I'm thinking he has 88, 99, 1010, or JJ. Instead, he is merely trapping you with his queen. Even with the hands I mentioned, he is always calling the river. There's always the shoulda, coulda, woulda hands in tournament poker, but taking the aggressive angle pre-flop with a c-bet on the flop usually works best. All that said, you had an awesome result in the Colossus. It really is unbelievable with a field that large.

  30. That KJ hand you played very bad… If shes leading out to you with a decent sized bet and you have the nuts, why not check call until the river and then jam there for max value.
